Terms of Service
Effective date: October 7, 2026 · Last updated: October 7, 2026
Trident Tours, a Vobius Labs product · Calgary, Alberta, Canada
These terms explain how booking, payment, capture, delivery and hosting work at Trident Tours — in plain language.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you book, pay for or use services from Trident Tours, a Vobius Labs product based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"). By booking or paying you agree to them. If you book for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
2. Our services
A 3D walkthrough is an interactive, navigable model of a space that viewers can move through in a web browser. Depending on the package, deliverables can also include photos, video, floor plans and related files.
We serve homeowners and agents, Airbnb and vacation-rental hosts, rental property managers, builders and designers, and yacht and marine clients. We capture on site in the Calgary area, on site elsewhere by schedule, or virtually — building from photos and video you provide, using our own software.
3. Packages and quotes
Packages with a fixed listed price can be booked and paid for instantly. Larger, "from" or "quoted" projects — luxury homes, whole buildings, developments, yachts, and any project outside our free travel zone — need a written quote first. Quoted projects may require a deposit or invoice schedule, agreed with you in writing before work starts.
4. Booking, slot holds and payment
- When you choose an on-site time, we hold that slot for 30 minutes so you can pay. If payment isn't completed in that time the slot may be released to others.
- Fixed-price packages are paid in full at booking through Stripe. You can pay from the link we email you; an account is optional.
- If your payment arrives after a hold lapsed and the slot was taken, your payment is kept safe; we'll offer a new time or a full refund.
- Your booking is confirmed when payment succeeds (or, for quoted work, when the quote is accepted in writing).
5. Prices, taxes and fees
- Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- GST (5%) is added for Canadian bookings. Taxes for other regions are added where applicable.
- Rush 24-hour delivery is an add-on of $250 CAD where available.
- Extra hosting is $149 CAD per additional year.
- Travel is included within Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks and Chestermere. Elsewhere in Alberta and internationally, travel is quoted before booking.
6. Your preparation and permission to capture
- Give us access at the booked time, with power and lights on.
- Clear and tidy the spaces to be captured; remove personal items, documents and valuables you don't want recorded.
- Keep people and pets out of the spaces during capture.
- You confirm you own the property or vessel, or have the owner's (and any occupant's) authority and any consent needed for us to enter and capture it.
- For virtual builds, you confirm you have the rights to the photos and video you send us.
7. Rescheduling and cancellation
- More than 48 hours before your capture: reschedule or cancel free of charge.
- Within 48 hours: a fee of 50% of the booking price applies.
- No-show, or a property we can't access or capture safely when we arrive: the full fee applies.
- Weather and safety: for yachts and exteriors we may reschedule for weather, sea or safety conditions at no charge to either side.
- If we have to cancel, we'll reschedule at no charge or refund you in full — your choice.
8. Refunds and corrections
- If we fail to deliver what you paid for, you receive a full refund.
- Genuine defects (for example missing rooms, stitching errors or unusable files) reported within 14 days of delivery are fixed or re-shot at no charge.
- Reasonable corrections are free for 14 days after delivery. New scope — extra spaces, a second visit, a different look — may be quoted.
- No refund is given for a change of mind after capture has taken place.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method.
9. Delivery
Standard packages are typically delivered within 2–5 business days of capture (or of receiving complete media for virtual builds). Larger projects get a timeline in their quote. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Files are delivered through a private delivery link and your dashboard, and stay locked until the booking is paid.
10. Hosting
Each tour includes 12 months of hosting from delivery. You can extend by the year. When hosting ends, the hosted tour goes offline; downloaded files you hold remain yours to use under the licence below. We'll try to remind you before expiry.
11. Ownership and licence
- Once paid, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the deliverables to market, sell, rent, manage or document the property or vessel captured, including on listing services, websites and social media.
- We keep ownership of our software, tools, processes, templates and underlying technology, and of the 3D models and source data except as licensed to you.
- We may show your project in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing; we will not show private details such as addresses on request.
12. Listing rules and compliance
You're responsible for making sure your use of the deliverables follows MLS, real estate board, short-term rental platform and advertising rules, and any licensing that applies to you (for example City of Calgary short-term rental licensing).
13. Agent Club memberships
Memberships are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't give pro-rated refunds for partial months. If a payment fails your membership becomes past due and benefits may pause until it's paid.
14. Not a survey, appraisal or inspection
3D tours, floor plans and measurements are visual marketing aids. They are approximate and are not a survey, appraisal, home or marine inspection, or a statement of condition, and shouldn't be relied on as one.
15. Your warranties and indemnity
You confirm the information you give us is accurate and that you have the rights and permissions described above. You agree to cover our reasonable losses from claims caused by your breach of these terms, a lack of authority or consent to capture, or your use of the deliverables.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, sales or bookings), and our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We take reasonable care in your property; nothing here limits liability for our negligence causing physical damage, death or personal injury, or for fraud.
17. Events outside our control
Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control — such as severe weather, natural disasters, illness, travel disruption, outages or government action. We'll reschedule as soon as practical.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts in Calgary, Alberta have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, nothing in these terms removes the mandatory rights you have under local law.
19. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you book applies to that booking. Significant changes will be shown with a new "Last updated" date.
